Garlic & Herb Vinaigrette Salad Dressing
Adapted from The Enchanted Broccoli Forest by Mollie Katzen
6 to 8 garlic whistles, minced
5 Tbs. olive oil
5 Tbs. red wine vinegar
¼ tsp. salt (more, to taste)
black pepper
a pinch of celery seed
¼ tsp. each:
dry mustard
dill weed
oregano
basil
4 stalks of green onion, minced
1 Tbs. orange or lemon juice
Combine everything and mix well. Store in a tightly covered jar. Yield: ¾ cup (easily doubled).
